One of our priorities is taking care of the environment. The development program of “FAKO” SA and its product takes into account a number of activities aiming at improvement of the condition of natural environment.

Adopting new quality standards in boiler structure implementation, including boilers of the RP and RW types, is a very important factor here. In boilers of these types emission of harmful gases, i.e. nitric oxide (NOx) and carbon monoxide (CO) has been reduced.

Small households burn 8 million tons of carbon. This has an enormous impact on the environment and human’s health. 42 percent of emission comes from local sources. For a few years the European Union has had a study group carrying out research on clean air strategy for power industry. Small boiler houses and domestic boilers are out of any control.  We are attempting to handle this problem by introducing ecological retort boilers of  EKW, KWR, EKP and KPR types onto the market, which are  environment-friendly thanks to the used fuel – eco-pea coal, produced by selecting coal of best properties. Such boilers, by exploiting retort combustion technology and solving the ecology problem, are becoming more and more recognized in Poland and abroad.
